The Iowa Supreme Court is remaking its calendar. The Court will now hear arguments from September through April, with the goal of submitting most opinions in those cases by the end of the term, which is now June 30. The Court will be on administrative term through July and August.
Previously the Court met for oral argument from September through June, and released decisions throughout the entire year. The new process closely mirrors that of the U.S. Supreme Court.
